Running away to the sea – part I

Running away to the sea was the best thing I had done – we became strangers to the world, the internet didn’t work, phone reception was ropey and we went through seasons over a week, sunshine, light rain, sleet, snow, sunshine. Best thing was that I found my mojo, it must have just been in my bag all the time. Many drawings were done and exploration, two visits to Cornwall, over hearing the feedback from visitors to the Damien Hirst sculpture at Ilfracombe (nothing better then hearing outraged views to sparkle the spirits and remind you why you are creative/ an artist/ a maker), a pair of arm warmers made, a jumper designed and almost completed, cream teas eaten, walks on the beach, dipped our toes in the sea, visited a sculpture park.

Found animals, sculptures and my mojo.

So many images to share so this will be post I of the seasons from our haven.
