So the last post was on my return from a break and here I am writing as I am about to depart on another – it is a teeny weeny bit of work and more a lot of pleasure. We are heading to France for a yarny garden party, the we being actually a Royal We of Skein Queen and Melarno. Novasteel is one of the hosts and more details can be found here (Ravelry Link). I am mixed with bubbling excitement (seeing knitty friends), trepidation (a fear from a school trip to France many years ago) and slight mother anxiety (abandoning my children for a weekend before their exams – okay, not really abandoning as my brother will be with them).
In other news, it has been a month of art events, more info on what we do everyday at work can be found over on the jelly blog. The secret remix village fete was fab ad I will post more photos here once my OH has uploaded them but here’s a snippet of the fabulous eggs brought over by the Kesslings.
And one of my favourite corners in jelly one evening, a shiny bit

I’m sure you’ll have loads of fun in France! Lots of wine and bread and cheese mmmm!
mmmmmmmmm, I am loving the cheese and wine bit : )
